Heartbroken
I am just heartsick right now. I loved this man. I was talking with Phil the other night and about how I have crushes on many newsmen. Tom Brokaw, Brian Jennings, Peter Jennings, Matt Lauer, etc. No explanation.
During this and the past election seasons, I know I said many times how I would love to just give Tim Russert a hug. I still would like to. I am so sad.
Vivienne, 5 years ago.
We are getting close to the 5th anniversary of the day I gave birth to my first child. Oh, and it is her 5th birthday as well.
Tomorrow, we join 25 other kids and a handful of family at one of those inflatable-jumping places for a ‘fun filled’ celebration. If I am able tomorrow, after being in charge of so many children, I will be posting some photos and hopefully a funny tale or two.
Vivienne is overjoyed to have a party, as up until now we just did a family thing and small gatherings. This is her big 5 year blowout, unlike last year when she didn’t want to turn 4 and fought us the whole time. Next one will be in 5 more years. Say a prayer for me.

I’m MELTING!
If you know me at all, you know that once it gets above 72 degrees, I become a major bitch. The real problem is that I sweat, A LOT. I am not sure if it is due to my girth or just my genetic make-up, but I hate it.
I even asked my doctor last time I was there. He told me it had a lot to do with how my body reacts to heat and after some tests, determined that I don’t have any sort of sweating disease.
It doesn’t make me feel any better, make my hair any less wet and make it easier to wear make-up past May. If Phil didn’t hate cold so much, I would be jetting off to a nice home in the north west of the US right about now. Where last week, it snowed.

Sometimes, We Are Just Goobers
I made these 3 years ago (!!) when we first moved in and put up the new counter.
In our kitchen, there is an overhang where the chairs are pushed under the counter/bar. It created 2 big, sharp and hard corners. Poor Vivienne smacked her head into these more times that I can recall. I am sure this has something to do with Vivienne’s 45 second attention span and selectively impaired hearing.
They are now to protect Henry from the same fate. I bet now he will NEVER ignore me, right?
