Surviving the Ides of March

Ok, so I am enjoying this no job thing. I am a little freaked still, but mostly doing good.

Vivienne has finally popped that 6th tooth out. It has been a horrible few days waiting for this to pass. She is cruising along the furniture, walls, chairs, etc. I figure walking has got to be coming soon....help! Her favorite activity this week is kicking things. We bought a huge ball at Target that she likes to kick around the house.

Phil and I realized this weekend that after living in this house for 5 years, we are finally to the point that each room is being used for a single function. On top of that, every room is being used for the purpose it was meant for. No offices in bedrooms or living areas in dining rooms. We have grown up folks! It only took 3 years of marriage and a baby. Go us.

As always, photos are being added on a weekly basis. I am adding things to all categories, so please peruse often.

Comments are welcome and encouraged.
Thanks people!

A New Beginning

Well well well. Here I am! This is my first week as an official Stay-At-Home-Mom. So far, its been great. I ran out of things to do today, as its rainy and cold. But I am sure on the next nice day, Vivienne and I will be out and about (read: mall).

Our sitter, Kelly, was so wonderful. She was here for about 3 days before I found out that I wouldn’t need her services anymore. Now she is available for anyone else in need of a daytime sitter. Even if you want a night out, she is your girl. Contact me and I will point you in the right direction. I recommend her highly!

Vivienne is starting to say some words. She loves to say “hi” and “hey” to anyone who might listen. She also is clapping, starting to wave and say “bye bye”. She is on the cusp of saying “fishy” and still mumbles “kitty” every so often.

She knows her name and is quickly learning “no”, as in “No, Vivienne, don’t lick the radiator” and “No, Vivienne, Don’t stand on Griffon.” Its going great!

Please, again, feel free to write comments and let us know how you like the new photos in the Early 2004 section.

More to come soon!
