HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Welcome to 2005

I don’t believe in resolutions, but I will let you in on some ideas Phil and I have for 2005. We are looking to be in a new house by the end of the year. We are talking about that second child for 2006 (THAT is 2006 MOM, not tomorrow). Mostly, we are just hoping to have more of the same from this year.

We have been so prosperous, happy and graced with many wonderful things this year. Although I lost my job, I was lucky enough to have Phil take on his own business and thus far, be more than capable of taking care of the family. Although we have to pay a lot for health insurance, everyone is healthy and we haven’t needed to take advantage of what we pay for. Although we lost the Cadillac, we had enough from the insurance to allow Phil to quit his old job and go it alone. Although my family is spread out for miles, they all came to see us for Christmas. And although my sister had a very tough year, she is finally all here in mind and body for this new one. For that, I would have given anything.

Lastly, I have added a link on the side for donations to the Red Cross International Relief Fund. Please take a moment to donate a few bucks to people who are helping those who have lost everything. Then, go hug your family.

Love,
Meredith
