Metal Meredith

This morning, I had an appointment at 9am. I woke up at 715am. Phil got up at 730am. By the time Phil came downstairs, I was exhausted.

In that time, I managed to:

*get both kids up
*get both kids dressed
*pack Vivienne’s lunch and snack
*wrap a birthday gift
*pack Vivienne’s backpack, get her coat and shoes ready
*make Vivienne breakfast
*give Henry a bottle
*get myself dressed
*pack the diaper bag

Phil managed to:

*wake up
*take a shower
*shave
*get dressed

I now see the glaring problem. I need to sleep another 30 minutes.

Phil has been in New York City for the Future of Web Design conference since Tuesday morning. I am so ready for him to be home.

(Dear stalkers, I am posting this on Thursday evening and Phil should be home any minute. So don’t get any ideas).
