My sister turns 38 today.  Thats her in the background looking lovely.

I wanted to have that in print somewhere. I know that she is probably not enjoying seeing the number in print, but there is something so cool about it. My sister being almost 40 gives me the idea that 40 isn’t all that old. It was when my parents turned 40. Not so much when Madonna turned 40. I remember Oprah having a big shin dig when she turned 40 and then proceeded to talk about how her 40s were so wonderful.

I suspect Michelle will talk fondly of her 38th year. I know everyone in the family is celebrating in their own special way. So Sissy, Happy Birthday and many many more.
