I know you want to see these but probably won’t ever go to the Shutterfly account I set up *sigh*, so here they are:
I hate to have professional pics done because I am always annoyed and disappointed. These are ok, we did buy a few more for the fact that we had some done on Vivienne’s 1st birthday, so we wanted to do the same with Henry. I also forget that my definition of “cheesy” is so obviously not the same as everyone else’s. I do know that “I don’t like props” isn’t that hard to understand (nice blocks, eh?)
So you can understand my being perplexed, no?

you guys look so awesome! We did family pictures once, and we all look stunned, except for Viv, who looks like she’s been smoking meth.
At least you guys aren’t all wearing black shirts, jeans, and bare feet like we were for our family portrait. We have to do these things for posterity regardless of how dorky we think they are. Your great-grandchildren are going to LOVE these.
My family never, ever did a family portrait beyond my 3 year birthday. At least, not that I can remember.
You know me, I couldn’t do the matching outfit/soft focus/professional studio type thing. ours had to be quick, in and out and over with.
It will be my last time doing these, however. Unless Phil manages to make a crapload of money and we can go to one of those outrageous places that make you look 100 times better than you do. You know, those places like Glamour Shots!
