It is a good day, isn’t it?

No matter who I support, no matter how much I am sick of hearing it all, no matter how I feel about politics in general, I am thrilled to be living during this time in America.

I am excited that I am alive for this. I am thrilled that Vivienne won’t know any different. The sky is the limit, isn’t it? (I had a dream 2 nights ago that the Obama family took Vivienne for the weekend and took her to see a Terminator movie. My 5 year old, a Terminator movie! Not sure what my mind is trying to tell me, but obviously all of this is weighing heavily).

And even though my Dad likes to send me political crap that makes me cringe and sometimes hurts my feelings, he can’t even deny that this is pretty darn cool, historically speaking.

I have such hope for your country now. I have this vision of Obama being just what you need. I hope it’s true. I love listening to him speak. I’m sad we won’t see a woman just yet, but thrilled that color isn’t the big deal it was so little time ago…
