Vivienne and Alice

Vivienne tells Phil tonight:
“Dad, I will NEVER not love Alice. But I will also ALWAYS not love Nathan.”
Oh, to be four and have your life end with each passing day!! How easy it is to say “nevers” and “always”.
She was recovering nicely and wanted so badly to get out. One of the moms there took these photos, as I was holed up (happily) in complete silence with Henry sleeping upstairs.

It is the innocense of being four that allows her to say such things. These are her blissful years. It is nice to see you and Phil allow her to enjoy them. You guys are the parental bombs.

Well, they DID share a sandwich at the park last week. AND there were other boys there. Too bad Sam didn’t go!
